Update number one - me and my friend have recently taken part in a Moontopia competition, we had to come up with an idea for a Moon settlement/colony. Our idea was a Lunar Space Elevator. Another World - short film
Hey, I wanted to let you know about another indie project I was involved in lately. It's a short film based on Another World game by Éric Chahi. I did concepts for environments, props and also mattepaintings. You can see both the film and making of in videos below.
Another World aka Project 23 emerged a few months ago as an idea for a short film inspired by a well-known game Another World. Initially it was planned as a short promo video for the Pixel Heaven 2014 event, but during months of preparation it became clear that it will be something much bigger. Tools of Doom ep. 1 - Sharpie markers
Some of you may already know that I'm doing lots of traditional sketches - I'm posting them on my blog (art-of-voyager.blogspot.com), on my instagram (voyager212) and to my facebook (Maciej Rebisz).
I got some questions about tools I use so I've decided to create short articles explaining techniques and tools I use. Ok, so let's start, here's a quick review of Sharpie markers.
When I was in a high school I was a big fan of pencils. I used all kinds of them - automatic, graphite, solid graphite, charcoal. Then I discovered other media - pens and markers. I fell in love with them almost immediately and I use them all the time since then.
